Remembering cousin Louis.
My cousin Louis died last Friday. He was one of the most talented blues pianists there was. He played with lots of bands but was probably most noted for his time with Rory Gallagher, featuring prominently in records and films from the 70s and onwards.
It’s been a bit odd seeing other people remember him on Twitter and Facebook, lovely of course to know that he touched so many. It has thrown up lots of great bits of footage of him playing with Rory, just like this video from the Irish Tour ‘74. RIP Louis.
